You can never go wrong with a candlelit dinner. Well, unless you need a waiter… 😉 Cheers to the weekend!

Bridechilla™ Tip #14

Tip #14 – How to be a BRIDECHILLA™ – Create good light and create a good mood.

Lighting is very important and we suggest using cathedral candles…they are very inexpensive and burn forever! Not only great for your chill day, they are also great around the house, and outdoors.

Lighting does not have to be expensive. Clear cathedral candles can by purchased on line or at the dollar store and hundreds of them create such drama! Also, they don’t blow our and they burn for a very very long time.

For every Bridechilla™…

…there is always a Groomchilla. We just love this photo and had to share. No wedding album is complete without a little chill silliness amongst the boys!

We’d love to see some of your favorite goofy groom shots, please share in a comment or on our Facebook 🙂

/ woo-pa! /
I. adj: a term to express excitement, joy, or happiness.
II. noun: the official Wood/Patrino wedding motto.

Grant & Emily – Highlights from Steven Bailey on Vimeo.

Woopa…the perfect  word for Emily and Grant’s amazing wedding celebration in Calistoga, California. Using both their last names—Wood and Patrino, they created the perfect “theme” of the day – WOOPA. They built an amazing Marque that flashed WOOPA   and even had handmade “woopie pies” as favors for all the guests. FUN was had by all!!

Congratulations Grant and Emily!

Keep calm & stay CHILL because our friends at MountainSide Bride and Mary Ellen Murphy of Off The Beaten Path Weddings have a PODCAST discussing all the tips to guide you through this exciting process.

Here are some Wedding Planning Tips from Mary Ellen:

1) Think about yourself before you think about your wedding details. Let your authentic self guide your details so your guests will get a sense of you as a couple.

  • What’s the best vacation you’ve ever had?
  • What’s your favorite meal?

2) After you set your budget, find your venue. Your venue will set the mood for the rest of your wedding.

3) For budget Mountain Brides choose a venue that highlights a spectacular view. When you have spectacular views you don’t need as much decor.

And there’s more! These are the ULTIMATE Bridechilla™ Tips. Go listen to Mary Ellen’s podcast with MountainSide Bride by clicking here.
